The Black Sheep just launched their new website.

The Black Sheep is a collegiate media and marketing company focused on the millennial audience. Through an integrated, multi-platform approach (including on campus, digital, social, email and print), local and national brands can more authentically and effectively reach the collegiate demographic. The core of The Black Sheep brand is humorous, engaging content written by students, for students, at their own school, thereby building an audience base for clients to reach through the various channels.

Led by founder and CEO Atish Doshi, The Black Sheep joined Catapult in June, 2014. In the past two years, they have experienced incredible growth, increasing revenue by 50% each year. The media side of their business expanded from 22 schools to 40, and the marketing side grew from 20 schools to 65. Their corporate team more than doubled, and there are countless students across the country in The Black Sheep network, gaining experience in editorial, marketing, sales, and operations. The Black Sheep serves over 300 clients.

“We’re going to be laughing a lot less without The Black Sheep around,” said April Lane, Catapult’s Executive Director. “Atish and his team brought a combination of hard work, dedication, and humor to our community. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to their continued involvement in Catapult through our alumni network.”

“The community-driven approach at Catapult helps founders grow like no other place in Chicago,” said Atish Doshi. “For me, knowing I was surrounded by other entrepreneurs going through similar challenges allowed me to get perspectives on my business that I may not have found, and to utilize that information to grow and scale quickly. Beyond that, Catapult does a great job creating strong relationships between fellow founders and companies which is something you don't see in many other co-working spaces.”
