Catapult Chicago is excited to welcome Scholastica to its collaborative startup community. Schoalstica, founded in 2010, creates a powerful online platform for academic journals that lets scholars focus on finding and publishing great content without worrying about complicated technical issues. They have 70+ scholarly journals using their SaaS platform, including elite journals from schools like Berkeley, Harvard, University of Chicago, and NYU. They're passionate about giving scholars everywhere the high-quality infrastructure that is needed to effectively manage and publish peer-reviewed journals.
The Scholastica team is made up of Co-Founders Cory Schires, Rob Walsh and Brian Cody (not pictured), and Nick Lewis. "We're excited about joining the Catapult community. It's a great milestone for us to cross as we continue to build Scholastica, and being around the other companies in the space is definitely motivating. We're looking forward to the year ahead!"
These guys are creative, ambitious, energetic and fun - and are not afraid to disrupt the status quo in their industry. We know they will fit right in at Catapult!
