Fly Joins Catapult

Catapult is proud to welcome Fly to our community of growing tech startups.

Fly is an Application Delivery Network (ADN) that accelerates dynamic application delivery. Fly uses a global network of servers to accept visitor traffic, run middleware on requests, then route them to backend applications.

Founded by Kurt Mackey and Jerome Gravel-Niquet, the team is headquartered in Chicago, now at Catapult, with remote workers throughout the country and Canada. Kurt and Jerome are no strangers to navigating the tech startup rollercoaster, having founded, which they tool from YCombinator in 2011 to an IBM acquisition in 2015.

“Fly stands out for its innovation and complex technology, which among this crowd is saying something. Kurt brings to Catapult immense tech and founder know-how, and we appreciate his willingness to share his experiences with the community,” said Caitlin McAllister, Catapult’s Managing Director.

Fly was featured in a Built In Chicago article After Selling His Last Startup to IBM, this Entrepreneur is Building His Next Company in Chicago. We’re excited he chose to build in Chicago, and at Catapult.
