In the Chicago startup community, a lot has been written about bridging the gap between corporations in need of innovation and growing startups that can offer valuable services. Catapult Chicago is putting this goal into action! On Tuesday, July 23, Catapult Chicago startups and Lou Malnati's executives "broke bread" (i.e., ate lots of delicious pizza) and had a lively discussion about the 42 year old family-owned and operated company. Mark Agnew, President of The Malnati Organization along with Mindy Kaplan, Director of Marketing, and Ben Beckstrom, Director of IT brought their famous deep dish pizza and talked about the challenges they are facing as the company grows. Catapult startups brought their appetites, asked probing questions, and offered great ideas.
